How do compensations and refunds work in LATAM Wallet?

In your LATAM Wallet, you can receive automatic compensation in the event of delays or cancellations on flights operated by LATAM when the cause is the airline’s responsibility or when it applies according to our commercial policies. You can also add any pending Travel Voucher in your LATAM Wallet.

And when you request a refund for tickets, baggage or seats (if the conditions and regulations apply), We will add the amount to your LATAM Wallet so you can use it immediately. Your refund will be credited in the currency of your LATAM Wallet. If you paid in another currency, the amount will be converted automatically using the exchange rate on the day we process the refund.

At the moment, refunds to the LATAM Wallet are only available in some countries.
