How can I buy my seat?

You must enter My trips, in the “Improve your trip” section select the option “Choose seats”, where you can choose your seat and ensure an excellent price. In the case of inter-airline trips, you can only purchase seat allowance at the airport.

Types of seat available

At LATAM Airlines we offer you various seat options, depending on the features and amenities you are looking for on your flight:

More space: seats with much more space for your legs, you can also embark and disembark with priority.

* Emergency exit: seats located at the emergency exit and with a much wider space for your legs, you can also embark and disembark with priority.

Standard: regular window or aisle seats.

 

* If you want to choose a seat at the emergency exit, you must meet the following requirements:

- Be older than 15 and younger than 60 years of age.

- Be mobile, strong and physically able to operate the emergency exit.

- Have the ability to read and understand instructions in the crew’s language.

- Have sufficient vision or hearing ability to perform functions in the event of an emergency.

- Be able to communicate verbally with the other passengers.

- Not be in charge of someone with a condition or be entrusted with a responsibility, such as the care of small children.

LATAM personnel can verify whether the passenger complies with the requirements to sit in this seat. If you do not meet these requirements, you will be assigned a regular seat.
