What are the baggage conditions on a flight with an associated airline?

If you purchased your ticket with us, the interline baggage policy applies. This means that your baggage allowance will be from the most permissive airline.

Check all the details of our policy in the interline baggage section.

How much baggage can I bring?

The amount of baggage permitted on flights operated by an associated airline may vary depending on the fare and the airline operating the flight.

You can check this information:

During the purchase process, when quoting your flight on our website.
After purchase, by going to My trips with your reservation code.

Can I add extra baggage on a flight with another airline?

No. The purchase of additional baggage is not available on our digital platforms for flights operated by associated airlines, even if you purchased your ticket through LATAM.

If you need to add extra baggage, you can do so at the airport, at the counter of the airline operating the first flight of your trip.

At which counter should I check in my baggage?

If your trip includes connections between different airlines, you must always check your baggage at the counter of the airline operating the first flight of your itinerary.

You can find more information in the section on baggage for flights with other airlines.
