How can I go up a LATAM Pass category?

To maintain or move up a LATAM Pass Elite category and access the exclusive benefits we offer, you need to accumulate a minimum number of Qualifying Points in a calendar year, according to the goals of each category.

Qualifying Points can be earned by flying, purchasing LATAM products and services such as seats, baggage or LATAM Travel and through LATAM group partners like Booking.com. In some cases, you can also accumulate points by using credit cards associated with the LATAM Pass program.

Qualifying Points are calculated based on the dollars spent on ticket purchases at the exchange rate at the time of purchase, excluding taxes and fees. The amount you accumulate depends on a multiplier based on your destination, meaning whether your flight is domestic or international.

In Brazil, they are calculated in reais for domestic flights and in dollars for international flights.

Remember, Qualifying Points are different from LATAM Pass Miles or Points, which can be redeemed for tickets, products and services.
