Do I get free baggage when traveling with tickets redeemed with LATAM Pass Miles?

On domestic flights within South America redeemed with miles, the baggage allowance corresponds to what is included in the fare you choose at the time of redemption. For example, if you chose the Basic fare, you are only allowed to take a small personal item that fits under the seat in front of you; it does not include a small bag in the cabin or checked baggage.

If you want to take a small bag, you must choose the Light fare. Any fare higher than Light also includes checked baggage. You can also purchase extra baggage by going to My trips.

Platinum, Black or Black Signature members can bring one free piece of checked baggage. This benefit also applies for passengers holding a credit card from one of our partner banks, according to the card category (ask your bank about your credit card benefits).
 

Tickets redeemed on international routes maintain their baggage allowance according to route and cabin.
