Can I bring TVs, monitors and other audiovisual equipment in the airplane?
You may carry televisions, monitors and projection screens as checked baggage. They must be transported in a suitable box or crate. However, it is not advisable to carry fragile or valuable items as checked baggage, since by regulation the airline cannot be held responsible for them.
Important: Special baggage must comply with the following weight and dimension limits:
- Up to 300 linear cm per piece (118.1 in) (Width + thickness + height).
- Up to 45 kg per piece (99.2 lb), and up to 32 kg (70.5 lb) per piece for flights to, from, or via Argentina, Aruba, Cuba, Europe, Oceania, South Africa or Venezuela.
For baggage exceeding the mentioned limits, we recommend checking with our LATAM Cargo transportation service.
