How will I receive my ticket refund?

We'll refund your ticket to the payment method you used to purchase within 7 business days from the time the request is made (in Brazil it will be within 7 calendar days and, for Peru, within 5 business days). The time it will take for the money to be reflected in your account will depend on each bank's processes, which will hopefully be as soon as possible.

If we can't refund the money to the payment method you used to purchase, we'll immediately refund it to your LATAM Wallet, which is automatically created when you register or log in to our website. You can use the money on LATAM products and services or transfer it to your bank account. In the latter case, you'll see the amount in your account between 3 to 7 business days, depending on your bank's processes. We'll always inform you by email about the status of your refund. 

If we're unable to refund the money through these means, it's possible that we'll contact you to request the information of another bank account to perform the refund.

If you purchased with LATAM Pass Miles

We'll credit your miles to your LATAM Pass account and the money you paid to your LATAM Wallet.

Important information

If you purchased in our LATAM Travel offices or through our Contact Center, keep in mind that the additional service fee is nonrefundable in the event of ticket refunds.
