How do I correct the first or last name of a person on my ticket?

To correct a typo in your first or last name (for example, spelling errors of up to 3 letters or switching the order of a first or last name), you can do it only once at no cost, as long as the flight is fully operated by LATAM Airlines. You must also keep the same flight, date and fare.

For changes in legal names, you must present accrediting documentation.

Contact our Contact Center so an agent can assist you with the change.

If you bought your ticket at a travel agency, you must request the correction directly with them. If you have Elite status or you purchased through a travel agency in Colombia, you can submit your request by calling to our Contact Center.

 

Can I transfer (endorse) my ticket to someone else?

Yes, provided that:

  • The ticket is for travel within Chile or Peru.
  • The request is made up to 24 hours before the flight.

In Chile, if you’ve already transferred a ticket, you must wait 6 months before submitting another request and are limited to 2 transfers per year.
If you want to transfer your ticket to someone else:

  1. Go to Create a case and select “Flight changes by passenger”
  2. Complete all of the requested information.

You can also perform the transfer through the Contact Center or in person at LATAM Airlines Sales Offices and authorized agencies.
In Peru, the ticket can be transferred more than once, which can be done exclusively through our Contact Center.
