How can I go up a LATAM Pass category?

To become a LATAM Pass Elite category and access the exclusive benefits we have for you, you need to earn, in one calendar year, a minimum number of Qualifying Points or Qualifying Segments as described in the goals of each category.
The Qualifying Points are calculated based on the dollars spent on purchasing the ticket (discounting fees, taxes and additional services) and the amount you earn will depend on the multiplier of the destination. In other words, whether your flight is domestic, regional (within South America) or international. 

The Qualifying Segments earned depend on the fare purchased and the number of flight connections. For example, flights purchased in the Premium Economy and Business cabins will earn double the Qualifying Segments, while flights with Promo and Basic fares do not add Qualifying Segments.

 

Remember that Qualifying Points are different from LATAM Pass Miles or Points, which you can redeem for tickets, products and services.
